We are keen to make our business as environmentally friendly as possible. The following steps lead us into becoming a greener company…and we strive to become greener.

Reducing our carbon footprint

Having spent years commuting for other companies, it was of vital importance to us when Web Boutiques was first set up, that this was going to come to an end! We have organized our business so that it is feasible and effective for all employees to either work locally or from home. While some travel is unavoidable, we have made sure that all company cars are diesel.

While we often arrange preliminary meetings with our clients face-to-face, most subsequent meetings (this includes 99% of all our design meetings) are carried out using teleconferencing and web visualization. This reduces our carbon footprint and has so far proved highly effective.

Saving energy

All office equipment is turned off at night. While this may sound obvious - there are many companies that don’t! This reduces energy by 50%.

Almost all correspondence is by email and printing documents has been reduced by emailing documents to clients or sending links with the relevant information.

Any paper that is used by our company is recycled. We are currently looking into suppliers of recycled products for businesses, such as paper, toner cartridges and plastics.
